Filters and Signals

Filters and Signals is an interactive demo of how linear systems shape sound. Generate a tone or feed in live microphone audio, then route it through a low-pass, band-pass, or high-pass filter with adjustable cutoff frequency, order, and resonance (Q). Real-time oscilloscope and spectrum displays show the signal before and after filtering, alongside the filter's frequency response curve, so you can see directly how filtering removes or emphasizes different frequency components of a signal.
